Intended-Use Attestation

Kimera Chems LLC (“Kimera”) supplies reference compounds for research use only. All products are labeled and sold “For Research Use Only — Not for human or veterinary use.” As a condition of opening an account and placing an order, every customer must read and accept this Intended-Use Attestation.

Attestation and Acknowledgement

By registering for an account and/or placing an order with Kimera, you represent, warrant, and acknowledge the following:

1. Age and capacity. You are at least 21 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) and have the legal capacity to enter into this attestation.
2. Research use only. All products purchased from Kimera are labeled and sold “For Research Use Only — Not for human or veterinary use.” You are acquiring these products solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, educational, or research purposes.
3. No human use; no veterinary or therapeutic animal use. You will not ingest, consume, administer, or otherwise use any product in or on the body of any human. You will not administer any product to any animal for veterinary care or treatment, or for any therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, or dietary purpose. This attestation does not prohibit bona fide in vivo research use of a product in animal models, conducted solely for lawful research purposes and in compliance with all applicable animal-research laws and standards; any other in vivo use remains prohibited.
4. Not approved drugs or supplements. You understand that these products are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, or medical devices; are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use; and have not been evaluated for safety or efficacy in humans or animals.
5. No resale for human use. You will not resell, repackage, distribute, or otherwise transfer any product for human or veterinary consumption, or in any manner inconsistent with its research-use-only designation.
6. Qualification and safe handling. You are qualified, or operate under the supervision of a qualified person, to handle, store, and dispose of research chemicals safely, and you assume full responsibility for doing so in accordance with applicable safety and handling standards.
7. Legal compliance. You will comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations governing the purchase, possession, handling, use, and disposal of these products in your jurisdiction — including, where applicable, laws and standards governing research involving animals — and you confirm that your purchase and intended use are lawful where you are located.
8. Not a restricted party. You are not a person or entity subject to applicable government sanctions or restricted-party designations, and you are not purchasing on behalf of any such person or entity.
9. Assumption of risk and liability. You assume all risk and liability arising from your purchase, handling, and use of the products, and you acknowledge that Kimera bears no responsibility for any use of the products that is inconsistent with their research-use-only designation.
10. Accuracy of information. The information you provide to Kimera is true and accurate, and you will update it as necessary to keep it current.
11. Change in intended use. If your intended use of any product changes, you will notify Kimera at admin@kimerachems.co before purchasing, using, or transferring any product for the changed use. Kimera may suspend, decline, or condition any order or further supply pending its review.

You understand that Kimera relies on these representations in deciding whether to open your account and fulfill your orders, that any breach of this attestation may result in cancellation of orders and termination of your account, and that Kimera may decline or limit any account or order in its sole discretion. These representations govern all of your purchases from the date of acceptance, survive as to any product already received, and remain in effect until superseded by your acceptance of a later version of this attestation.

Acceptance and Recordkeeping

Your acceptance of this attestation is recorded at account registration and at checkout — including by typing your full legal name as an electronic signature at registration — together with the date, time, and version accepted.
