By placing an order on kimerachems.co, the customer expressly agrees to all terms outlined below. This document constitutes the binding fulfillment, delivery, returns, and dispute policy governing every transaction between Kimera Chems and the customer.
1. Order Processing & Fulfillment
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays and Black Friday. Kimera Chems does not ship or process orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or recognized closure days.
Same-Day Shipping Cutoff: Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST on a business day with cleared payment ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff or on non-business days ship the next business day.
Payment-Method Processing Delays: Orders paid by ACH, crypto, or flagged for fraud review do not enter the shipping queue until payment has fully cleared. The shipping cutoff applies to the business day the order becomes shipping-ready, not the original order date.
Once a shipment is scanned by the carrier, a tracking confirmation is issued to the email on file. Delays in carrier tracking activation do not indicate shipment failure. Carrier scan confirmation constitutes proof of shipment and merchant fulfillment.
2. Shipping Carriers & Liability Transfer
Kimera Chems ships exclusively via:
- USPS
- UPS
- FedEx
Customers select their carrier at checkout. PO Box addresses route automatically to USPS regardless of selection, as UPS and FedEx do not deliver to PO Boxes. Specific service levels (ground, expedited, overnight) are not offered.
Upon carrier acceptance of a shipment:
- Liability for delivery transfers from Kimera Chems to the carrier
- Kimera Chems has no control over delivery speed, routing, or final delivery outcome
- Carrier records supersede customer statements in any delivery-related dispute
3. Delivery Timelines
Typical delivery is 2 to 5 business days after carrier pickup. Delivery timelines are estimates based on standard carrier performance and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, holidays, and address-specific routing may extend delivery beyond the typical window.
Kimera Chems does not issue refunds for orders that arrive late, provided the carrier ultimately delivers the package.
4. Tracking & Delivery Confirmation
Carrier tracking data, including scan history and delivery confirmation, is treated as primary evidence in any delivery-related dispute. This includes:
- Origin scan and out-for-delivery scans
- GPS-tagged delivery confirmations
- Signature confirmation (where applicable)
- Carrier-issued proof-of-delivery imagery
Where the carrier confirms delivery, Kimera Chems considers fulfillment complete.
A shipment signed for by any apparent representative at the delivery address — including a concierge, doorman, front-desk clerk, security guard, mailroom staff, or another occupant of the residence — is considered delivered.
5. Signature Requirements
Orders with a value of $400 or more require signature confirmation upon delivery by default.
Signature Waiver: Customers may elect to waive signature confirmation at checkout, and in doing so accept delivery risk at the address provided.
Waiving signature confirmation may affect the outcome of a non-delivery claim, and Kimera Chems is not obligated to reship, refund, or issue store credit where signature was waived and the carrier confirms delivery. Claims are reviewed on their individual facts.
6. Lost Shipments & Non-Receipt
Packages with no delivery scan. A package is not considered lost until 20 calendar days have passed since carrier pickup with no delivery scan.
During the 20-day window:
- Customers should contact the carrier directly to initiate a delivery investigation
- The carrier may locate the package, deliver it to an alternate location, or return it to sender
- Kimera Chems will not initiate shipping insurance claims before the 20-day threshold
After 20 calendar days, customers may submit a claim through the Shipping Claim form at kimerachems.co/shipping-claim/. Kimera Chems will file the claim with the carrier and insurer on the customer’s behalf.
Non-receipt after confirmed delivery. Where a carrier records a shipment as delivered and the customer has not received it, coverage may apply subject to all of the following:
- The shipment was tendered to the carrier with associated tracking information
- There is no indication of fraud or negligence by or on behalf of the customer, the carrier, or Kimera Chems
- All reasonable measures were taken to locate the shipment, including checking the delivery location and with household members, neighbors, and building staff
- A written claim is submitted within 90 days of the ship date
All shipping claims must be submitted within 90 days of the ship date. Claims submitted after that window cannot be filed with the insurer.
Shipping insurance covers:
- Loss in transit (after the 20-day threshold)
- Carrier-verified damage
- Non-receipt after confirmed delivery, subject to the conditions above
Shipping insurance does not cover:
- Loss or damage caused by exposure to heat or cold, or by any variation in temperature or atmospheric pressure
- Loss or damage resulting from insufficient or unsuitable packing or preparation for shipment
- Inherent vice, gradual deterioration, dampness, or ordinary wear and tear
- Loss of market, loss of use, or loss arising from delay
- Loss or damage occurring before or after the transportation window
Reshipment or refund is issued only after the insurance claim is approved.
7. Damaged Shipments
If the outer packaging shows visible damage on arrival, open the package immediately and photograph the contents. Coverage does not apply to externally damaged packages that are left unopened.
Concealed damage — damage not visible from the outside — must be identified and reported within 90 days of delivery.
To qualify for a damage claim, the customer must submit the following through the Shipping Claim form:
- Photo of the damaged item(s)
- Photo of the internal packaging
- Photo of the external packaging
- Photo of the shipping label still attached to the box
Damaged items, all original packaging, and the shipping label must be retained until the claim is resolved; the carrier or insurer may request inspection. Failure to provide complete documentation or to retain materials will result in claim denial.
8. Missing Items
Missing-item claims must be reported within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery via the Shipping Claim form or by email to help@kimerachems.co.
Claims are verified against:
- Packing records
- Pre-shipment photography
- Weight validation logs
9. Product Condition on Arrival
Claims regarding product condition (defective vial, broken seal, mislabeled product, damaged contents not caused by transit) must be submitted within 7 calendar days of confirmed delivery, with photo documentation, via the Shipping Claim form or by email to help@kimerachems.co. Affected products and their original packaging must be retained until the claim is resolved.
Kimera Chems may, at its sole discretion:
- Replace the affected item
- Issue store credit
- Issue a refund
Return of the affected product may be required prior to resolution at Kimera Chems’ discretion.
10. Returns Policy
Kimera Chems accepts returns under the following conditions:
Eligibility:
- The product must be unopened and untampered, with all original packaging, seals, and labeling intact
- The return must be initiated within 7 calendar days of delivery by contacting help@kimerachems.co
- Returns initiated outside the 7-day window will not be accepted
Restocking Fee & Shipping:
- A 20% restocking fee is applied to all eligible returns and deducted from the refund amount
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any tracking on the return shipment
Return Process:
- Email help@kimerachems.co within 7 days of delivery to request a return authorization
- Kimera Chems will issue a return authorization number and the return shipping address
- The customer ships the product back at their cost, using a trackable shipping method
- Upon receipt and verification that the product meets the unopened-and-untampered condition, Kimera Chems issues a refund less the 20% restocking fee and original shipping charges
Returns received without prior authorization, or in opened or tampered condition, will not be refunded and will not be returned to the customer.
Exchanges: Kimera Chems does not process direct exchanges. Customers seeking a different product should return the original item per the policy above and place a new order.
11. Order Cancellation
Before Shipment: Orders can be canceled by emailing help@kimerachems.co prior to carrier pickup. Once a shipping label is generated and the package enters the fulfillment workflow, cancellation may no longer be possible.
After Shipment: Orders cannot be canceled after the carrier has accepted the shipment. Customers wishing to return the unopened product after delivery may do so under the Returns Policy in Section 10.
Payment-Method Considerations:
- Card orders: A pending charge is placed at order. If the order is canceled before shipment, the pending charge is released back to the customer’s card. Release timing depends on the issuing bank.
- ACH orders: Cancellation prior to ACH clearance prevents the payment from being captured.
- Crypto orders: Once a crypto payment is confirmed on-chain, refunds may require manual processing — contact help@kimerachems.co.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Standard processing time is 3 to 5 business days for the refund to post, depending on the issuing bank or payment network. Crypto refunds may require additional time for manual processing.
Customers may, where eligible, elect to receive a refund as store credit in lieu of a cash refund. Store credit is applied to the customer’s account immediately upon approval.
13. Third-Party Testing & Quality Verification
Customers who suspect a product fails to meet labeled specifications may request independent verification under this section. Kimera Chems will bear the cost of that verification where the result confirms the customer’s claim.
Governing metric. Refund eligibility under this section is determined by chromatographic purity expressed as %area by HPLC with UV detection, measured against the applicable certificate of analysis for the specific lot supplied. Current COAs are published in our COA archive. Absolute mass-fraction methods, including quantitative NMR, report a different quantity and are not comparable to the threshold below. A result constitutes a failure where measured chromatographic purity is more than 3.0 percentage points below the purity stated on the applicable lot COA, or falls below 90.0% %area in absolute terms; where measured mass is inconsistent with the expected monoisotopic mass of the labeled compound; or where concentration is more than 10% below labeled content. Yield-based variance disclosed for specific compounds at the product page level is excluded from refund eligibility under this section.
Laboratory. The laboratory must be independent, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, and agreed in writing by both parties before shipment. One laboratory, one submission per order.
Parallel sample. Kimera Chems will submit retained material from the same lot to the same laboratory in the same submission window. Both samples are analyzed under identical methods and reported together.
Sample condition. All material submitted for verification must be in its original labeled Kimera container with the tamper seal documented; material transferred to another container cannot be accepted. Photographs of the container, label, lot number, and contents in clear view must be provided before shipment. Minimum sample requirements by product format:
- Lyophilized peptide vials: one unopened, tamper-sealed vial of the same lot. Opened, reconstituted, or empty vials cannot be analyzed, and verification under this section is available only where an unopened vial remains.
- Capsules: the original labeled container with a minimum of 10 intact capsules remaining.
- Solutions: the original labeled container with a minimum of 5 mL remaining.
- Raw powders: a minimum of 250 mg remaining in the original container. Raw powders are typically supplied in quantities of 1 g or more, preserving sufficient material for verification under normal research use.
Chain of custody. The customer ships directly to the laboratory with tracking. The laboratory reports directly to Kimera Chems.
Required data. Identity must be established by mass spectrometric detection; retention-time matching alone is not sufficient. The report must include measured monoisotopic or base-peak m/z as a numeric value, the chromatogram and mass spectrum as recorded, chromatographic purity as %area with full peak list, and method, column, and detection parameters. The laboratory will analyze a minimum of two aliquots drawn from separate points in the container, and will weigh and report the returned container and contents on receipt.
Impurity origin. A failure result requires an impurity profile consistent with a manufacturing or degradation origin for the compound in question. Detection of compounds inconsistent with the known synthetic pathway or degradation behavior of the labeled compound does not constitute failure.
Outcome. On failure, Kimera Chems refunds the order in full and reimburses documented laboratory costs up to $300. On confirmation, the order stands as fulfilled and testing costs are the customer’s.
Timing. Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery and shipped within 14 days of laboratory agreement.
To initiate verification under this section, contact help@kimerachems.co with the order number and lot number.
14. Chargebacks & Dispute Policy
Customers experiencing an issue with an order are asked to contact Kimera Chems support at help@kimerachems.co before initiating a chargeback with their payment processor, so that we have an opportunity to resolve it directly.
Kimera Chems may permanently decline future service to any customer who initiates a chargeback without first attempting resolution through support, and may report the transaction to payment processors and third-party fraud monitoring networks.
Kimera Chems will fully contest chargebacks and will submit, at minimum:
- Carrier tracking confirmation
- Carrier-issued delivery records and proof-of-delivery imagery
- Signature confirmation where applicable
- Pre-shipment fulfillment photography
- Order metadata including IP address, AVS results, billing/shipping match, and transaction history
15. Fraud Prevention
Kimera Chems enforces a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Payment fraud
- Chargeback abuse
- False non-receipt claims
- Identity misrepresentation at signup
- Coordinated misuse of promotional codes or affiliate links
Order information, including transaction metadata, may be shared with partner vendors, payment processors, and fraud-prevention networks. Accounts flagged for fraudulent activity are subject to suspension or termination at Kimera Chems’ sole discretion.
16. Evidence Retention & Audit Rights
Kimera Chems retains fulfillment and transaction records for compliance, dispute resolution, and audit purposes. Retained records include:
- Pre-shipment packing photography
- Carrier scan history and delivery confirmation
- Signature confirmation imagery
- Retained lot reference samples and release-test records
- Payment metadata and transaction logs
- Customer communications related to orders, claims, and disputes
Records are retained in accordance with applicable law and the Kimera Chems Privacy Policy.
17. Governing Agreement
This policy constitutes a binding agreement between Kimera Chems and the customer at the point of checkout. By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms in full.
This policy is read alongside and subject to the Kimera Chems Terms of Sale, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and the Intended-Use Attestation and Research Use Only (RUO) disclaimers and restrictions referenced at account registration.
